  • The Seminole Innovators Showcase

    The Seminole Innovators’ Showcase recognizes and celebrates innovative achievements. We explore an exhibition of ideas, projects, games, artworks, technologies, and other innovative work from students, faculty, staff and surrounding partners. Student participants receive special recognition and are awarded SEMINOLE INNOVATOR Medallions.

    Arcvale is a technology studio making games and products. We specialize in emerging technology like virtual and augmented reality, as well as areas like 3D printing and mobile development. Some of the projects that we will be demoing include:

  • Gail Rubini Lab Grand Opening & Commemoration - Supports digital creative design & prototyping including immersive design in XR, 2D design in Adobe Suite, UX design & coding.

  • HoloLens 2 Demo

  • Sublimate - Device with motorized mechanisms controlled by arduino intended to be used in a film.

  • TallyEats - Interactive restaurant/foodie platform that helps generate restaurant recommendations and helps users decide where to eat.

  • Wonderin - Conversational AI onboarding platform for new college students providing a faster, better, & cheaper experience.

  • Arcvale - Designed and developed interactive games

  • Keep Track of Yourself - Slime VR IMU trackers & prototype designs for harness to hold trackers more securely for individuals of variable size.

  • Artificial Decay - Digital artworks; experimental code-poem, short-film created in AI tools (GPT-3, Uberduck.ai, Stable Diffusion, Boomy, etc), & interactive VR experience built from glitched photogrammetry scans.

  • 3D Fabrication - Custom Wearable 3D Prints

  • New and Immersive Media exploration with various headsets

  • Techno suit designed and assembled from everday use items.

  • FSU iGEM Program & Projects

  • Interdisciplinary study of airflow through pine needles utilizing 3D printed prototypes testing wind speed affect on fire spread.

  • Designed and constructed non-fabric craft garment with a variety of laser cut pieces.

  • "Hurdy Gurdy" with 3D printed and laser cut parts and details.

  • Katana Man Cosplay - 3D Printed wearable piece

  • Designed, manufactured, and implemented braille signage onto washing machines to assist sight-impaired students.

  • Pivot Pen - Innovative multi-colored easy switch pen demo

  • College of Engineering

  • New development of academic feedback system - database can be grouped into palettes for specific assignments.

  • Head-mounted wearable computer equipped with a thermal camera that can see in the dark.

  • Custom speaker line gave customers an alternative to the everyday-use speakers.

  • Full 3D printed wearable gear.

  • Laser cut parametric wall and sign prototype design.
